He Started His Carrier By Attacking At The British Ships And Held The Colaba Fort As His Headquarter. He Fought Against British, Dutch, Portuguese Naval Power. Kanhoji Angre Made The Colaba As A Only Centre Of Marine Power. In 1707, Kanhoji Angre Became Grand Admiral Of Maratha Navy . In 1713, Maratha Empire Was Became Weak And Sarkhel Kanhoji Angre Became More And More Independent So An Army Sent Against Kanhoji Headed By Peshwa Bhyroo Pant But In This Battle Peshwa Brutally Defeated By Koli Sarkhel Kanhoji Angre And Bhyroo Pant As His Prisoner. After Defeat Of Peshwa, Kanhoji Planned To March Against Satara State Headed By Shahuji Raje Bhonsle. Shahuji Raje Bhonsle Called Kanhoji Angre For Treaty And Kanhoji Angre Received26 Forts And Fortified Places Of Maharashtra After That Colaba State Came In Existence (अस्तीत्व).
The Princely State Of Colaba Was Center Of Marine Power During The Time Of Kanhoji Angre. Colaba Was Seat Of The Rulers Of Princely State Of Colaba. The Rulers Of Colaba Fought Against British, Duch, Portuguese And Siddis Of Janjira. Colaba State Founded By Kanhoji Angre. Kanhoji Angre Was Also Founder Of Angre Dynasty And Maratha Navy Because Before The Kanhoji Angre, Maratha Navy Was Not Powerful Kanhoji Angre Make It Powerful. Princely State Of Colaba Was Powerful In Sea Power And Not Much In Land Power. Kanhoji Angre Died Undefeated In At 4 July 1729. He Was Succeed By His Elder Son Sekhoji Angre.
Sekhoji Angre,
Sekhoji Angre Proved Himself Like His Great Father Kanhoji Angre.
Sekhoji Angre Was Attacking And Capturing The Maritime Power Like The English, The Portuguese , The Siddis Of Janjira And The Navy Of Surat. In 1731, Sekhoji Angre Attacked The Ghazi Khan A Mughal Noble Of Janjira Fort Because Ghazi Khan Was Wasted The Lands Of Colaba. Sekhoji Angre Defeated The Ghazi Khan And Took Him As Prisoner And Destroyed The Rajkot Citadel Of Muslims. Koli King Of Colaba Sekhoji Angre Was Helping The Marathas And Peshwa. Marathas Were Determined To Overcome The Siddis And Musalmans.
In 1732, Marathas Entered Into The Secret Treaty With The Help Of Yakut Khan (Yakut Khan Was A Converted Koli , Hindu Koli To Muslim Koli, When Yakut Khan Was A Child He Taken To Jail And Grew Up In Muslim Family. The Father Of Yakut Khan Was A Koli Patil Of Guhagar Village In Maharashtra).
In 1733, A Force Of Siddis Was Sent In Konkan But In This War Siddis Fleet  Was Captured By Sekhoji Angre With The Help Of Peshwa At Rajpuri.
Some Of The Peoples Believe That Sekhoji Angre Built The Purandra Fort.

Death
Sekhoji Angre Was No More In 28 August 1733. After The Death, Sekhoji Angre Succeed By His Brother Manaji Angre. After Death Of Sekhoji Angre, The Koli Power Gone Weak Because Sambhaji Angre And Manaji Angre Was Fighting Sometimes.

In 1733 SambhajiRaje Angre Became Ruler Of Colaba State. He Died In 1742 And Succeed By His Brother Shrimant Tulaji Rao Angre.

Tulaji Angre,
After The Death Of Sambhaji Angre, Tulaji Angre And Manaji Angre Both Brothers Was Fighting For The Throne Of Colaba State So Nanasaheb Peshwa Intervened In The Disputes Between Tulaji Angre And Manaji Angre. Sahuji Bhonsle Was In The Favor Of Tulaji Angre Because Sahuji Bhonsle Knew That The Tulaji Angre Is Most Power Full And Minded Then Manaji Angre. So Sahuji Bhonsle Favoured Tulaji Angre And Made Him Grand Admiral Of Maratha Navy. But This Was Against The Will Of Nanasaheb Peshwa Because Peshwa Was In The Favour Of Manaji Angre.
After Becoming The Admiral Of Maratha Navy, Tulaji Angre Made A Big Records Of Exploits Of Capturing The English Ships Named Charlotte Of Madras, William Of Bombay , Svern Of Bengal , Darby , Restoration , Pilot , Augusta , Dadabhoi Of Surat. Koli King Tulaji Angre Also Captured The Anjanvel Of Muslim Siddis Of Janjira.
So Koli King Tulaji Angre Became Famous For His Exploits And Nanasaheb Peshwa Became Jealous Of Tulaji Angre Because Of Power And Fam Of Tulaji. Here Was A Another Reason For Nanasaheb Peshwa To Be Against The Tulaji Angre. Koli Admiral Tulaji Angre Refused To Admit The Nanasaheb Peshwa As His Superior And Refused To Obey The Orders Of Nanasaheb Peshwa. Tulaji Angre Said To Peshwa That You Are Ruler Of Land And I,m Ruler Of Ocean And King Of Colaba So I,m Your Superior. Nanasaheb Peshwa Was Against Tulaji Angre So Tulaji Annoyed The Peshwa By Raiding His Territory. But Nanasaheb Peshwa Was Unable To Reply The Attacks Of Tulaji Because Of Sahuji Bhonsle. But After The Death Of Sahuji Bhonsle, Nanasaheb Peshwa Became Free To Take Revenge Of Tulaji Angre. But Tulaji Angre Was More Powerful Against The Peshwa. There Was A War Between Tulaji Angre And Nanasaheb Peshwa With The Help Of British East India Company. The Combined Forces Of Peshwa And British East India Company Was Over The Tulaji Force So Tulaji Went To The Peshwa's Camp For Treaty Because British Was Taking Benefits Of War Between Colaba State And Peshwa But When Tulaji Appears In Peshwa's Camp He Was Captured By Peshwa Immediately And Prisoned.  Tulaji Died In 1756 And Succeed By His Brother Shrimant Manaji Rao Angre.

Death of Manaji 1759,
Turning to the story of Kolaba, as Manaji was in the Deccan, in 1757 helping the Pesva against the Nizam, his lands were invaded and plundered by the Sidis. On his return (1758) Manaji drove them out of his territory, but failed in an attack on Danda-Rajpuri. [Rao Saheb Bal Ramchandra.] Manaji died in 1759. [Manaji died on 23rd September 1758. Sardesai.] In spite of the troubled times in which he ruled, Manaji, with the help of his brother Dhondji, is said to have added to the revenue and improved the condition of his state. [Mr. Dunlop, 15th August 1824, Bom. Gov. Rev. Rec..121 of 1825, 13-14.] He was succeeded by Raghuji, the first Angre of that name, the eldest of his ten illegitimate sons. [The names were Raghuji, Mahimaji, Chimaji, Dhondji, Krishnaji, Tulaji Hiroji, Tukoji, Sambhaji and Ramaji. According to Sardesai Manaji left 14 sons, 10 legitimate and 4 illiegtimate.] Manaji Angre Succeeded By His Son Shrimant Raghuji Raje Angre.
Rathuji Angre,
After Succession Of Raghuji In 1758, Siddis Of Janjira Attacked The Territory Of Colaba State. Sidfis Destroyed Many Temples And Wasted The Many Village Of Territory Of Raghuji But Raghuji Defeated The Siddis With The Help Of Peshwa. After That (1759) Raghuji Angre Attacked The Siddi's Fort With His Own Power. Raghuji Captured The Underi Fort From Siddis Of Janjira And Given To The Peshwa For The Help In 1758 And Named The Fort As Jayadurg. Again Raghuji Made A Battle Against Siddis Of Janjira And Captured The Fort Of Kansa Or Padmadurg . Janjira itself would have met the same fate. Raghuji Was More Active Than Other Angres In The Raids On Trading Ships And Was A Good Ruler. He Did Much To Improve The Territory Of Colaba State. In 1759, Raghuji Angre Built Shiddivinayak Temple (Ganesh Temple) In Colaba.
Raghuji Angre Launched A Major Offensive Against The Siddis (African Pirates) Of Janjira With A Land Force. In 1788 Raghuji Captured The Merchant Vessel Named  Chinchester & Carried To His Headquarter Colaba Fort (Known As Colaba State Because Angria Family Was King Of Indian Pirates). After This British Government Alarmed About Safety Of British Harbours & Property. The British Authority Informed The Governor-General That Raghuji Who Are Admiral Of Maratha Navy & A Pirate Minded Person Attacking More & More On English Shipes & Vessels. After That Raghuji Attacked Again On British's Big Trading Ships With Impunity & British Was Shocked & Feared Of Koli King Of Pirates. Raghuji Angria Was Friendly With Peshwa & Always Warns That Merchant Will Try To Concern. There Was Pretenders Against Peshwa & Going To Bombay With The Help Of British But Before The Pretenders Reached At Bombay , Raghuji Angre captured The Pretenders & Carried To Peshwa. In November 1793, Raghuji Angre Was Died & There Was A Big Query That Who Are The Next King Of Colaba State Of Pirate. Because Raghuji Angria's Son Named Manaji Angria2 Was Infant. But There Was No Option So Manaji Angre II Who Was A Little Child Became The King Of Colaba Under The Guardianship Of  Jai Singh Who Was Loyal To King Of Colaba. Raghuji Succeed By His Son Manaji Angre ll. Raghuji Angre Left His Wife Anandibai Of Bhonsle Family And Two Sons Manaji ll Angld Kanjoji ll. Manaji ll Died In 1817 And Succeed By His Son Raghuji Angre ll. Raghiji ll Died On 26 December 1838. Raghuji ll Succeed By Kanhoji ll .  21 March 1839 Kanhoji Angre ll Was Died And Princely State Of Colaba Was Annexed With British India.
